The subject of the study is the transformation of suburban spaces in the context of changing everyday practices. The aim is to compare the trajectories of suburban development on the example of model cities - Kiev and Vinnytsia. Research methods - comparative geography, observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews. A comparative characterization of the trajectories of suburban development in the context of social differentiation of residents and spatial configurations of stable and changing everyday practices. The analysis and interpretation of the data obtained during the field stage of the study in terms of the manifestation of everyday practices of living, consumption, recreation and leisure, mobility and self-organization of the population in functionally and topologically distinct parts of the suburban area. The results of the survey and in-depth interviews with the residents of the suburban zone of Kyiv and Vinnytsia are analyzed in terms of identifying changes and peculiarities of perceptions of everyday practices by residents, their attitude to the relevant transformations and possible methods of regulation. Visualization and interpretation of the obtained results are carried out.
