In the course of the research, the method for obtaining natural peptides from the tissues of aquatic organisms of the Antarctic region was optimized. The peptide production scheme included several steps, in particular, the stepwise use of perchloric acid and 80% ethyl alcohol to separate the protein material and convert the peptides into solution. The application of the membrane filtration method allowed to obtain fractions of peptides with a molecular weight up to 5 kDa. According to the results of 2D electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel, it was found that the isoelectric points of most peptides from the tissues of aquatic organisms of the Antarctic region are in the pH range from 8.0 to 10.0, which indicates a high percentage of positively charged amino acids in peptide molecules.
