The purpose of the study is to develop a comprehensive legal model for ensuring social and environmental security, which would provide an opportunity to ensure effective regulatory regulation of social and environmental risks, threats and dangers. During the implementation of 1 EPP, the working group of the project: identified and assessed the state of risks, threats, and clarified the development of potential environmental, social and labor conflicts, through obtaining empirical data on the state of the environment, natural disasters, man-made disasters; and also, the basic ecological and social problems of big cities, other polluted territories are identified; identified socially vulnerable and vulnerable groups in Ukraine as a result of environmental problems; the influence of endemic diseases on the state of social protection of the population, ensuring legal regulation of the work regime, social security is analyzed to some extent; the potential dependence of the population in unfavorable areas on the consequences of ecological character is analyzed and identified. Expected efficiency: data were obtained from the sample and inquiries regarding environmental and social insecurity, the relationship between environmental consequences and social and legal ones was revealed; scientific and practical events and an international forum were held, which allowed to discuss with scientists and practitioners problems of socio-ecological nature in Ukraine and abroad; disseminated the results of the study through the official web resources of KNU.
