The aim of the project is to study the luminescent properties of heterostructured organic materials with the ability to separate signals of ionizing radiation and to study the physical mechanisms that determine the ability of these materials to select different types of radiation. Research methods - optical spectroscopy. Experimental methods for studying the absorption spectra, instantaneous and delayed fluorescence, as well as phosphorescence of organic scintillators at temperatures of 300 K and 77 K have been developed. Processing and preliminary analysis of research results have been carried out. It is shown that for stilbene and paraterphenyl solutions the absorption and fluorescence spectra are mainly monomolecular. The luminescence spectra of these substances in the solid state are more complex, which is due to the transfer of electron excitation energy in these systems. At the same time, there is a dependence of the spectra of delayed radiation at 77 K on the size of the granules, which can be used by developers of systems for recording ionizing radiation.
