The project is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of cyclization processes of new types of functionally substituted six-membered (pyrimidines, triazines) and seven-membered ((get)arylazepines, heteryldiazepines) heterocyclic systems and their targeted modification for the construction of structural blocks that can be used, including and applied problems of modern organic and medical chemistry. Its has been elucidated the regiochemistry of the reaction of decarboxylation addition of malonic acid, its mono(thio)esters and β-ketoacetic acids to 4- (trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-2(1H)-ones. An effective approach to anelаtion of azole(azine) and furan(pyran) nuclei to alkenyl-substituted pyrimidinones and their heterocondensed analogues by the intramolecular cyclization reaction was proposed. It has been created preparatively convenient methodology for obtaining 5-aryl(heteryl)pyrrolidin-2-ones, 2H-benzazepin-2-ones, 2H-naphtho[1,2-b]-, 2H-naphtho[2,1-b]- and 2H-naphtho[2,3-b]azepin-2-ones and 5H-thieno[3,2-b]azepin-5-ones and their sulfanyl derivatives, a number of which showed pronounced antifungal properties. An effective variant of structural modification of the diazepine nucleus pyrazolo[3,4-e][1,4]diazepines with chemically and biologically promising acyclic and heterocyclic groups has been developed. A number of new complex compounds of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Ru(III), Rh(III), Pd(II) ions with thiazole-containing hydroxyiminoacetic acids have been synthesized and the influence of their complexes with Pd(II), Cu(II) ions on pro- and anti-proliferation of endothelial cells of the HeLa line was revealed.
