The ligands were characterized by a number of physical methods, which allow for confirmation of the formation of target products and their purity. 10 new lanthanide-containing heteropolynuclear metalomacrocyclic compounds and 6 new mononuclear luminescent complexes of Eu3+ and Tb3+ with tris(pyrazolyl)borate ligand were obtained. These compounds were characterized by a number of physical methods. The crystal structure of metalomacrocyclic units was determined by X-ray crystal structure analysis. It was shown that the shape of the skeletons is close to planar and that Ln3+-ions are located in the target pentagonal equatorial environment. Original methods of synthesis of metalomacrocyclic complexes with substitutes carboxylate and sulfonate ligands in axial positions were developed. The crystal structure of these coordination compounds was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Calculations of optimized geometry of coordination centers of Ln3+ ions in these complexes show that realization of target pentagonal bipyramidal (D5h) local symmetry of Ln3+ coordination environment has occurred. Mononuclear tris(pyrazolyl)borate Eu3+ and Tb3+ complexes contain monodentate ligands, which may be easily changed by polydentate anions. This allows considering these complexes as perspective "building units" for the following obtaining of polynuclear assembly. It was shown, that complexesTp2LnCl, Tp4Me2LnCl, TpPyLnCl2 (Ln = Eu3+, Tb3+) possess intense metal-centered luminescence of red (Eu3+) or green (Tb3+) color by the antenna-effect of the tris(pyrazolyl)borate anions.
