LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT, EFFICIENCY, HORIZONTAL COLLABORATION, MATERIAL FLOW, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT The object of research is the process of managing a complex of transport and logistics systems. The purpose of the study is to develop a method of horizontal collaboration of the complex of transport and logistics systems for their sustainable development. When performing research, the following methods were used: mathematical macromodeling; integrated approach to the functioning of all components of the model; metaheuristic approach to select the best option from the existing ones; "Agent multi-attribute" approach to describe the participants in the transport process and the relationships between them. Methods, approaches, mechanisms of functioning of logistic systems are substantiated. The parameters and indicators of the process of cargo advancement under the conditions of horizontal collaboration of logistics systems are determined, which take into account the discrete nature of transportation, the human factor and the characteristics of logistics systems. Requirements for horizontal interaction of logistics systems are established. The criterion of efficiency of horizontal interaction of logistic systems is chosen. The results of research were used in the performance of research work of students, course projects, lectures and practical classes in the disciplines: "Efficiency of transport processes", "Smart transport and urban logistics". 3 master's theses are defended on the topic.
