 The analysis of the efficiency of using different approaches to the creation of source material in soybean breeding for productivity and duration of the growing season showed that in the conditions of Prykarpattia interspecific hybridization with the subsequent multiple individual selection has an advantage. In breeding nurseries 123 pieces are allocated. (or 39%) of constant forms with different length of the growing season, high productivity and resistance to biotic and abiotic factors. After completion of the structural analysis, the peculiarities of the shaping process in hybrids of different generations (F3-F5) will be established, the parameters of variability of productivity traits will be determined, the correlation between productivity traits and vegetation period duration, as well as between component traits and yield will be determined. 2 new cultivars of cultivated soybeans (Play and Rinata) have been submitted for state registration in Ukraine, the precocious soybean variety Leah is undergoing qualification examination for the second year.
