Purpose: to develop, test and implement in the production the schemes which will help to increase the body's resistance of cows during the dry season and after birth. Research methods - clinical, biochemical, statistical. It was found that the greatest risk of obstetric pathology in cows was caused by subinvolution of the uterus (0.28−0.29 units) and postpartum endometritis (0.17−0.16 units). For diseases such as manure retention, subclinical endometritis and abortion, the risk of the occurrence of this kind of pathology was low, respectively, 0.09; 0.06 - 0.09 and 0.01 units. The highest coefficient of reduction of resistance of cows' organism was related to subinvolution of a uterus - (2,05 - 2,45 units), endometritis - 1,67 - 1,40 units, to delay of a manure (1,40 - 1,50 units), subclinical endometritis (1.37-1.38 units) and abortion (1.08 units). The use of drugs "Glauconite" and "Evitsel" during the dry season leads to an increase in total protein by 15.0% (p≤0.05), albumin by 14.0% (p≤0.05), γ-globulins to 11 , 5% (p≤0.05) at the background of reducing β-globulins to 25.0% (p≤0.05), comparing to the cows of the control group. The cows which had a therapy with "Glauconite" medicine during the dry season confirmed that this drug prevents the development of pathology of calving and the postpartum period, and the duration of the service period is shorter by 75 days (p≤0.01) at an insemination index of 1.6, against cows of the control group. After application of the drug "Evitsel" to cows, the course of calving passes without complications, and the duration of the service period is shorter by 55 days (p≤0.05) at an insemination index of 1.7, compared with the control group Product Description popup.authors Adamchuk Vitalii Yu.
