New fundamental information about the influence of dimensional effects and phonon scattering on structural inhomogeneities in the low-temperature heat capacity of modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes with different diameters was obtained. The characteristic mechanisms of phonon interaction are established and the fundamental knowledge about the nature of thermal phenomena and heat transfer in carbon nanomaterials is studied. New information about the behavior of heat transfer mechanisms in the molecular crystal of 2-bromobenzophenone is obtained. For the first time, it was established that the interaction of acoustic phonons with local excitations takes place in this crystal: the manifestation of these features in both heat capacity and thermal conductivity was studied. A comparative analysis of the thermal properties of 2-bromobenzophenone and other materials of the benzophenone isomorphs was performed.
