Purpose: synthesis of ions based on imidazolium and guanidinium cations and establishment of their influence on morphophysiological and biochemical parameters of seedlings of plants of the genus Triticum in the presence of toxic concentration of copper ions. Wheat seeds were treated with aqueous solutions of synthesized PGMG-Cl and PGMI-Br with concentrations of 0.001-1%. It has been established that substances cause an increase in the length of roots and shoots of seedlings from 30% to 50%. The concentration of 1% has a depressant effect on the growth characteristics of seedlings. The influence of ions on the growth and development of wheat seedlings under the toxic effects of copper ions has been established. An aqueous solution of copper sulfate with a concentration of 200 μmol / l inhibits the growth of shoots by 65.8% and roots by 34.4%. The content of pigments and flavonoids in the green mass decreases, which indicates a decrease in metabolic activity in the pro-sprouts under the influence of Cu2 + ions. Introduction to a solution of PGMG-Cl at a concentration of 0.01% improves the growth of shoots (by 24.8%) and roots (by 64.7%), a solution of PGMI-Br at a concentration of 0.001% increases the growth of shoots by 17.6%, and roots by 40.1% compared to pure CuSO4 solution. The results of spectrophotometric studies indicate the absence of complexation between PGMG-Cl and copper sulfate in aqueous solutions. The growth-regulating activity of the synthesized ions against Triticum seeds in the region of concentrations of aqueous solutions of 0.001-0.1% was established. The compounds neutralize the negative effect of copper ions on the growth parameters of wheat seedlings, improve their morphophysiological parameters, photosynthetic characteristics and secondary metabolism.
