The expediency of using photosensitizes in unfavorable weather to increase the completeness of polymerization is proved. It is established that for the effective use of organic dyes that are covalently bound to the polymer chain in polyurethane matrices of solid-state laser elements, it is necessary to preserve the electron density of the dye on its chromophore that determine its colour. It was found that rhodamine B with COOH group on the chromophore, which interacts with polyurethane based on aromatic toluene diisocyanate, meets such requirements.
