A new variety of Malutka nutmeg was created and submitted to DSV, which exceeds the standard Novinka variety in terms of total yield (36.6 vs. 35.1 t / ha) and total carotene (4.62 vs. 3.35 mg%) in the competitive variety trial. It was found that hybrids F1 (Dyukovsky / Arabatsky) and F1 (Balm / Miracle) have the highest selection value in terms of productivity and stability. It has been proved that the F1 hybrid (Dyukivsky / Arabatsky) corresponds most closely to the “ideal” genotype for the conditions of southern Ukraine.
