Several peculiarities are studied associated with collective nonlinear dynamical screening and scattering on local density fluctuations. The effect of collective enhancement of electromagnetic Stokes drag under the motion of finite cluster of interacting atoms through equilibrium photon gas is studied, along with the influence of the atomic ensemble density and geometry on the enhancement effect. The quasiclassical distribution function for photon density in the phase space is obtained from the solution of the Boltzmann-Langevin equation. The anisotropy of photon distribution is shown and explained via the drift of photons. For long propagation path, the explicit expression for fourth-order moment of light is obtained as a sum of linear and quadratic forms of the average distribution function. The fourth moment of the light field is used to describe aperture-averaged scintillations for different sets of atmosphere configurations. The scheme of an effective one-photon quantum switcher controlled by the qubit state is proposed. The qubit is built into a modified electromagnetic environment for the suppression of the Purcell relaxation. The characteristics of the proposed switcher are studied in detail. The model of long-term luminescence of Polyamide-6, describing the experimentally confirmed Becquerel law for this material, is proposed.
