 The results of research work and their novelty: 1. The prospects of composites with CdZnTe crystallites for the creation of electromagnetic radiation sensors are shown. 2. It is established that with the participation of Al impurities localized states corresponding to the maximum at the wavelength of 700 nm spectral dependences of dielectric constant composite materials based on ZnSe (Al) are created. 3. The effect of X-rays at a dose rate of 200 mR / h on composites with ZnSe (Al) leads to positive changes in dielectric parameters. Moreover, small changes in dielectric parameters are negative. 4. An explanation of changes in dielectric parameters under the influence of non-monochromatic light and X-rays, based on electronic processes involving localized states, which are often created by doping impurities, is proposed. 5. It is established that large-scale inhomogeneities of optical, dielectric and photodielectric properties are characteristic of ZnSe crystals grown from melt. Optical and electrophysical inhomogeneities are closely related, which is probably due to the mutual influence of two-dimensional and point defects on the formation of the defective structure during growth and subsequent cooling of the crystal. 6. It was found that microwave irradiation with a frequency of 2.45 GHz causes significant changes in the low-frequency dielectric properties of Cd1-xZnXTe samples, which can be explained by the athermic change of internal fields and the transformation of the point defect system. These changes are accompanied by coordinated oscillations of polarization and active electrical conductivity of the samples.
