The introduction of the created equipment allows to obtain beams of multicharged metal ions (56Fe) with an energy of 1.6 ÷ 7.9 MeV, which gives new opportunities to expand simulation experiments in the study of structural materials of nuclear reactors on beams of charged particles. It is an important diagnostic tool in improving nuclear energy technologies and methods for assessing their safety.
