Vernadskii Institute of General & Inorganic Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Two bis (aminobenzoato) zirconium (IV) phthalocyanines were synthesized. and their photochemical properties are characterized. The structures of the complexes were confirmed by chemical analysis, mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy. The absorption and photoluminescence spectra were studied and the different behavior of the complexes in different media (dimethyl sulfoxide and saline) was shown. The generation of reactive oxygen species by the obtained compounds was investigated by monitoring the absorption spectrum of diphenylisobenzofuran as an indicator when irradiated with light in the range of the first biological window. New dyes capable of coordination with metal ions have been obtained by introducing pyrocatechinate or carboxyl substituents into the molecule. According to the Knevenagel reaction, dehydroacetic acid derivatives condensed with aromatic aldehydes were obtained. These compounds are chelating bidentate ligands that easily form complexes with transition metals and coordination unsaturated phthalocyanines. Condensed derivatives of dehydroacetic acid quite easily interact with aliphatic amines. This opens the pyran cycle and alkylamino--ketoenols are formed. These are also colored substances in which the chelating fragment is stored, with maximum light absorption in the range of 400-450 nm. Product Description popup.authors Selin Roman O.
