Kholodny Institute of Botany, NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 A standard species list has been developed which including 6,518 names of vascular plant taxa, 1,129 bryophytes, and 1,684 lichens, on the basis of which all phytosociological data characterizing different types of vegetation of Ukraine throughout its territory will be digitized and accumulated. A unified structure of metadata is proposed, based on standard forms of header data, which will most fully reflect the synmorphological and ecological specifics of phytocoenoses. Based on the analysis of native and foreign experience, a communication system with clearly defined data access algorithms for the needs of large-scale analysis has been developed. The National Phytosociological Database of Vegetation of Ukraine has been created, which contains 22,029 geobotanical releves of different types of plant communities. Methodical recommendations for the implementation of the list of species "Ukraine2020" and the structure of metadata in the Turboveg for working with phytosociological information in Ukraine.
