It was proved that succinic acid applied to cows after calving, increased the amount of Interleukin 2 and Interleukin 4 in their blood, respectively, three times (p≤0.01) and 8.0%. In cows of the control group, after calving, the content of Interleukin 2 increased by 36.0% (p≤0.01), and Interleukin 4, on the contrary, decreased by 15.0% (p≤0.05). The use of succinic acid in cows at a dose of 10.0 ml per animal on the day of calving and three times in a row with an interval of 48 hours increases the resistance of cows, prevents inflammation of the reproductive system, restores reproductive function, reduces the duration of the service period to 80.0 ± 2 , 0 days, and the insemination index to 1.3.
