In the course of the research the methods of complex and system analysis, graphic, statistical, calculation and design, comparative analysis, expert assessments, graphic and analitical, etc. are used. Relevance of the development. In connection with the current trends in the development of the transport network, the growth in the construction of roads, there is a need to constantly improve the quality of construction. Technical and operational indicators of construction of new roads must meet modern requirements in terms of quality, safety and ecology. This requires the use of modern and advanced road-building materials, road pavement structures and construction technologies. The intensive pace of road construction requires finding alternative substitutes for natural building materials. The construction of the road foundation layers and road pavement made of soils and secondary industrial products treated (reinforced) with aqueous sodium silicate solution will allow achieving significant financial savings in road construction. The use of local materials treated with water-sodium silicate solution is especially important in those areas where stone or sandy materials are absent and their transportation leads to increased cost of work in the construction of roads.
