The possibility of using the proposed method in studies of a model plant - Arabidopsis, has been demonstrated. It was revealed that this method demonstrates a low level of intron length polymorphism of γ-tubulin genes in related species and varieties of flax. The expediency of using the method in the study of cereals at the inter- and intraspecific levels has been proved. It is shown that the investigated marker system can be used for genetic profiling of woody plant species. In general, the results obtained show that the method based on the intron length polymorphism of the γ-tubulin gene is a simple and reliable tool for the molecular genetic analysis of monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants, especially in studies at the interspecific level.
