The purpose of the research 2020 is to determine the main factors and assessment of their impact on the radiation doses formation of the population of radioactively contaminated areas in Rivne region at the current accident stage based on the comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring in the reference settlements (S) in 2020. Research methods - spectrometric, radiochemical, mathematical. A comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring, which was carried out in 2020 in four emergency states in Rokytne district of Rivne region - ss. Stare Selo, Vezhytsia, Perekhodychi, Drozdyn, showed that the annual effective radiation doses of the population in these S are formed due to internal radiation doses, and in the current year do not exceed 1.24 mSv • year-1 for adults and 0.65 mSv • year-1 for children with RRT criterion 1 mSv • year-1. The average annual doses of internal radiation in the surveyed S range from 0.12 mSv • year-1 to 0.21 mSv • year-1 for adults, and from 0.09 mSv • year-1 to 0.15 mSv • year-1 for children, which is 1.2–1.9 times lower than in the fall 2017, this confirms the dynamics of gradual reduction of radiation levels registered at the current stage of Chernobyl accident. The main factor that forms the internal radiation dose of the residents in the surveyed S of Rivne region is the intake of 137Cs in the body with milk and forest products, especially mushrooms, which are the most contaminated with 137Cs. The amount of 137Cs in 76% of the collected milk samples exceeds the permissible level (PL) up to 4 times (the maximum recorded value is 363 Bq ∙ l-1). All collected mushroom samples dried at 137Cs amount significantly exceed, up to 15 times, the PL (maximum recorded value is 36.9 kBq ∙ kg-1).
