Objective: to analyze the medico-demographical indicators of the health status of population and data on the levels of long-continued irradiation of people resulted from the Chornobyl accident, to develop scientifically justified recommendations for making managerial decisions on the life support of the population from the areas of radiological contamination (ARC). Study methods: general scientific, demographic, mathematical-statistical and computer programming. The study justified the specifics of formation the annual doses the residents of Poliske region in 1986–2018 and calculated average annual effective irradiation doses. During research, it was revealed that the number of population in the ARC during 1986–2016 is mainly decreasing, except for the Rokytne and Sarny regions. The fertility rate has dropped, which largely resulted from the structural factors and and an increase in mortality. It was established that ARC is a narrowed type by the reproduction type (except for Sarny and Rokytne regions that have broaden type of population reproduction). ARC modes of reproduction progressive, stationary, and regressive ones. The results of calculation of multidimensional average variable (P) proved that in 2016 the best demographic situation was in Rokytne (P = 1.249) and Sarny (P = 1.112) regions of Rivno oblast, the closest to the national one was the demographic situation in Olevsk region of Zhytomyr oblast (P = 0.947), and the worst situation was in Kozelets (P = 0.363) and Ripky (P = 0.402) regions. A statistically credible dependence of mortality of children under 1 year on the mother's radiation dose was revealed. The dose-mortality correlation coefficients averaged between Product Description popup.authors Ivanova Olha M. Boyko Zulfira N Buderatska Valentyna B Zasoba Yana Yu. Korotkova Natalia V.
