Purpose: to determine the feature of the different agency management cooperation on of the population radiation protection in the SZ NPP. Research methods: sociological (expert assessments, population surveys); methods of one-dimensional statistical analysis. A comparative analysis of the assessments of expert groups allowed to establish: the level of readiness of state-owned enterprises and institutions to respond to emergencies (from 3 to 4.5 points on a 5-point scale); low technical and material level of civil protection services provision. Missing equipment and medical properties on the balance of the medical and sanitary department for emergency situation. According to the results of expert assessments, define the cooperation of local state managers of the SZ, heads of business entities, educational and medical institutions and NPP employees in everyday life and in the event of an emergency at the NPP was determined. In the dynamics of 2015-2019, a negative trend of subvention receipt to the territorially united communities of the SZ was established, which is associated with changes in legislation and a decrease in the amount of the subvention. The vital issues of the SZ NPP population at public environmental hearings on the continuation of operation of power units were clarified: safety of NPP operation; social protection of the population SZ; quality of medical care; electricity tariffs; quality of informing the population about NPP emissions and discharges. The analysis of value orientations of the population of SZ of the South Ukrainian NPP was performed. A correlation was found between the core values and the state of concern about the risk of emergencies (for urban - social, and for rural – man-made).
