According to the results of grain productivity assessment, 45 samples exceeded the standard Polovetske variety by 0.02-0.45 kg/m2. According to the level of protein in the green mass, the following varieties stood out: Uragan (14.31%), Markiyan (14.50%), Bohodarske (13.70%) – Ukraine; Parus (14.70%) – Belarus; Sojuz (14.91%) – Russia; Aliosha (14.47%) – Kyrgyzstan. According to the results of the competitive variety testing (2019-2020), ten numbers provided grain yield at the level of 7.0-8.9 t/ha, which is 0.1-2.0 t/ha higher than the standard Bogodarske variety. Some of those numbers had high protein content in the dry matter of the grain. Buzhanske triticale variety (winter) (Application № 20022003 dated 16.11.2020) was submitted for qualification examination in the system of state variety testing of mowing types.
