The purpose of the work is a systematic analysis of legal issues in the doctrine of copyright law and enforcement on atypical copyright objects; recognition of copyright for atypical objects; author's exercise of the right to atypical copyright objects; compliance with copyright during the creation and use of objects in the digital environment, taking into account foreign experience and European integration processes. Research methods - general scientific and special legal. The basic conceptual bases concerning the legal nature, protection of atypical copyright objects, the maintenance and realization of subjective copyright are defined, taking into account specificity of different copyright object (mini-works, titles of the work, characters, photographic works, teleformat, slogan, etc.). The study formulates conceptual approaches to be taken into account in the codification and incorporation of intellectual property law in terms of overcoming existing gaps and conflicts in the legal regulation of relations related to the creation, protection and use and of copyright works. Based on the results of the research, the proposals and recommendations for improving Ukrainian legislation, which were implemented in the draft laws, teaching activities, are the basis for further research on copyright issues of creative intellectual activity.
