The purpose of the project is following: investigation and modification of properties of functional materials and devices on their basis; modification of properties of sensing materials, aimed at improving and stabilizing the parameters of devices based on them; creation of light-emitting systems with high luminescence intensity based on p-type silicon conductivity. It is established that the combination of high-temperature treatment of silicon crystals in an oxygen atmosphere and elastic deformation gives an increase in the energy efficiency of luminescence up to 2.5%. A respective equation is proposed to describes the surface conductivity of silicon as a function of mechanical load and X-ray dose. As part of this research, hypotheses about the possibility of creating new effective fluorescent humidity sensors, temperature and ionizing radiation sensors, color-controlled phosphors, fluorescent fingerprints for biomedical testing, and biosensors based on oxides and chalcogenides have been confirmed. The hypothesis about the possibility of creating effective and cheap detectors of ionizing and infrared radiation, magnetic field sensors and mechanical loads on the basis of silicon has also been confirmed.
