It is established that silver doping of ZnO nanostructures significantly increases the ratio of the spectral integral intensity of the near-band edge emission to the deep-level one, which makes them promising for use as effective photocatalytic materials. It was found that the introduction of an isoelectronic Mg impurity in ZnO leads to an increase in the size of nanocrystallites and to improvement in photoluminescence due to the geteration of point defects in ZnO. Composite nanostructured ZnO-Ho films were grown by electron beam deposition. It is shown that the introduction of holmium leads to an increase in the lifetime of current carriers in ZnO films, which is favorable for improving their photocatalytic properties. A CVD method for the synthesis of C3N4Ox / TiO2 anatase nanopowder composite as well as chemical polymerization of C3N4Ox / polyaniline and TiO2 (anatase) / polyaniline composites were developed. Their surface structure and optical properties have been studied. It is shown that the combination of C3N4Ox with nanoparticles of TiO2 (anatase) and nanoparticles of C3N4Ox and TiO2 (anatase) with polyaniline allows to: (i) significantly increase their absorption coefficient in the visible range of the radiation spectrum, (ii) to affect predicted on the position of the absorption spectrum, which is promising to increase their photocatalytic efficiency.
