The purpose of the work is to substantiate the theoretical provisions and develop practical recommendations for improving the organization and methods of accounting for the costs of ensuring the quality of agricultural products. The expediency of introduction of application of budgeting of expenses for maintenance of quality of production is proved that allows to plan expenses on places of their occurrence, to compare with actual and to optimize them according to information requirements of quality management system; methodical approaches to internal control of costs for product quality assurance, provide a combination of economic and technological control over business processes and quality centers at the enterprise. The proposed approaches will help increase the effectiveness of measures that ensure product quality and lead to costs without reducing the quality of products of enterprises and can be implemented in enterprises of Ukraine. The organization of primary accounting of expenses for quality assurance of products at the agricultural enterprise with application of process approach is offered for practical introduction, objects of the account and factors of expenses are specified, the list of primary documents is defined, the schedule of document circulation is offered; recommendations on coding and cost measurement based on their grouping by business processes are provided. These developments contribute to the classification of accounting information, which will allow to make purposeful management decisions. The implementation of the developed recommendations in practice will increase the validity of management decisions. The provided recommendations are specific and aimed at implementing a systematic approach in establishing effective information support for the cost accounting process to ensure the quality of agricultural products.
