We have developed a method for quantitative analysis of PHMG oligomers using the MALDI mass spectrometric method (matrix-activated laser desorption / ionization) using the ionic liquid matrix "1-methylimidazolium α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamate". The optimal composition of ingredients was selected for new disinfectants and antiseptics. We investigated the peculiarities of PHMG migration in biocenoses and their influence on phytocenoses. We determined the coefficients of its transition in the systems "soil-plant", "water-plant". The effect of PHMG on microorganisms and zoohydrobionts was studied. We have developed a theoretical model (biophysical and biochemical) of the interaction of PHMG salts with cell membranes and artificial bilayer phospholipid membranes. We investigated the effect of PHMG on the activity of enzymes K, Na-ATPases of the plasma membrane of smooth muscle cells and on the intracellular concentration of Ca2+ ions in cells.
