The research method consisted in calculations of the background of detectors with crystals of lithium, sodium, calcium, and lead molybdates in the conditions of an underground laboratory; discovering of background sources in the energy spectrum of detectors near the available energy of double beta decay of 100Mo nuclei; development of methods for measuring low levels of radioactivity in materials and scintillation crystals.
