The main ones are: - chemical, associated with the use of strong oxidants. As oxidants use chlorine, chlorine dioxide, sodium hypochlorite, ozone, potassium permanganate, iodine, bromine; - thermal, such that are realized by boiling and freezing; - method of saturation of water with ions of precious and non-ferrous metals - silver, copper, etc .; - physical, such that are realized by means of ultraviolet rays, ultrasound, radioactive radiation. A number of advantages of ultrasonic disinfection of liquids are revealed. The search for analogues and prototypes, which is reflected in the received patents. Preliminary studies of the effect of ultrasonic cavitation on microorganisms have been carried out. According to tests №749 / 2 from 6.10.2017 and №771 / 2 from 13.11.2017 in the production laboratory of PE "Kronos Agro" the following crops were taken for research: Bacillus subtilis (gram-positive spore-forming bacterium); Lactobacillus acidophilus (gram-positive lactic acid bacterium); Saccharomyces cerevisae (microscopic baking yeast). The obtained results on water disinfection with the addition of inoculum of these strains of microorganisms, the efficiency of processing in the cavitation tank significantly exceeds the efficiency of processing in test tubes. Lactic acid bacteria and yeast were sensitive to the action of ultrasound. Based on DSanPiN 2.2.4 - 171 - 10 "Hygienic requirements for drinking water intended for human consumption", for further studies of the ultrasonic cavitator, it is necessary to choose such strains of bacteria and microscopic fungi as: Escherichia coli (gram negative enterobacteria of the intestinal group) , because this bacterium is the main indicator of water purity.); Bacillus subtilis (gram-positive spore-forming bacterium), the data indicate that these bacteria are more resistant to ultrasound; Desulfovibrio desulfuricans (sulfate-reducing bacteria).
