Karst., Il-11, Il-15, Il-20 - Irpex lacteus (Fr.) Fr., Ls - Laetiporus sulphureus (Bull.) Murrill, Me - Morchella esculenta (L.) Pers.: Fr., Pe-1 - Pleurotus eryngii (DC.) Quél., Po-1, Po-8, Po-9 - Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacq.) P. Kumm, Rs-1 - Ramaria stricta Quél., Sc- 51, Sc-51-5 - Schizophyllum commune Fr., Sh - Stereum hirsutum (Willd.) Pers., Tv-13 - Trametes versicolor (L.) Lloyd, Tb - Trichaptum biforme (Fr.) Ryvarden). We showed that basidium cultures Il-11, Il-15 and A-7 are the most effective in lignin molecules degradation, besides A-7 has a complete set of oxidizing enzymes required for lignin degradation. The same species cultures show the different ability to lignin transformation indicating their genetic heterogeneity and lack of correlation with the fungi species feature. Decreasing of the medium’s pH increases the expression and activity of enzyme systems involved in the transformation of lignin. The Il-11 culture is capable to express four laccase’s isoforms, and the Il-15 and A-7 cultures are capable to express two isoforms. The Il-11 culture actively decomposes the standard lignin into several large fractions with different physicochemical properties, and the Il-15 and A-7 cultures decompose the high molecular weight fraction of lignin to form a significant number of fractions.
