Subject of research: synthesis and study of biological activity of 1,3-thiazole and 4-azolidone derivatives, electrochemical and spectrophotometric properties of these compounds and their complexes with platinum group metal ions. The aim of the work is a comprehensive study of new derivatives of 1,3-thiazole and 4-azolidone, which combines three promising areas of research: the creation of new methods for the synthesis of these organic compounds; research of their biological activity and physicochemical properties with the subsequent introduction of results in practice of analytical chemistry; creation of own scientific research equipment and software. Research methods - organic synthesis, spectral methods, chromato-mass spectrometry, potentiometry, voltammetry. The previously unknown methods of azole synthesis were developed. This made it possible to synthesize libraries of substances relatively easily, cost-effectively and ecologically, to investigate their activity and to offer the best of them as leading compounds in the development of anticancer drugs. For the first time, a number of new ensembles of heterocyclic systems were obtained, the biological properties of which were not researched. Our own scientific research equipment for studying the physicochemical properties of azoles was manufactured. Selective analytical reagents and new analytical forms of 1,3-thiazole and 4-azolidone derivatives in the form of their complex compounds with metal ions were obtained. Spectrophotometric and voltammetric methods for the determination of both new biologically active substances and metal ions in the form of their complex compounds with azoles were developed and successfully tested in the analysis of real complex objects.
