However, long-term use of NG increases the risk of developing a number of complications, including their significant toxic effects on the central nervous system. The implementation of the main tasks of the Project is aimed at clarifying the mechanisms of development of structural and functional disorders in the CNS and cognitive-behavioral disorders under the action of NG, as well as finding ways for their pharmacological correction is an urgent medical and biological problem. At this stage, a method of histological analysis of brain regions has been developed for further studies of the neurotoxicity of NG and the protective effect of vitamin D3.
