The experimental tests were carried out and it was shown that their mechanical strength and resistance to leaching in an aqueous medium is higher than that of a cement matrix. The possibility of using phosphate matrices for the immobilization of high-level waste (lava-like fuel-containing materials (LFCM) of the Shelter of the ChNPP) for their further deep geological removal is considered. Using mathematical modeling (based on a non-stationary differential equation of diffusion for a multilayer cylinder), a comparative computational analysis of the intensity of the release of cesium and other radionuclides into the geological massif from the tunnels of an underground storage was carried out using three different methods of immobilization of LFCM: - immobilization of LFCM in a potassium-magnesium-phosphorus matrix;  vitrification of LFCM;  cementing of LFCM. It was shown that the use of a phosphorus matrix provides a significantly lower rate of entry of radionuclides from a deep storage into the surrounding geological massif compared to a cement matrix, which ultimately increases the ecological safety of the disposal of hazardous radioactive substances.   Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2021-03-17 Close
