Bogatsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The object of study: hybrid materials based on silica and alumina with non-covalent and covalent fixation of lanthanides complexes (Nd(III), Eu(III), Gd(III), Yb(III), Lu(III)) with 1,10-phenanthroline and a number of β-diketones, as well as on the basis of silica and titania with diethylenetriaminepentaacetates of Eu(III) and Gd(III). Purpose: Development and optimization of conditions for the synthesis of hybrid materials based on mixed inorganic matrices SiO2/Al2O3, SiO2/TiO2. Investigation of structural factors influencing 4f-luminescence of lanthanide ions during the transition from their coordination compounds to lanthanide complexes doped into inorganic matrix. Analysis and prediction of the main factors of composition and necessary conditions for the synthesis of hybrid materials in order to obtain the maximum intensity of 4f-emission, stable under the influence of physical and chemical factors. Sol-gel methods for the synthesis of mixed binary composites SiO2/Al2O3 and SiO2/TiO2, as well as hybrid materials based on them, doped with lanthanide complexes, have been developed. It was established that materials with non-covalent fixation of complexes are characterized by uneven distribution of molecules in the matrix, because their molecules are prone to association / aggregation. Covalent fixation contributes to a more equal distribution of radiation centers. By means of elemental analysis and XRD it was shown that in SiO2/Al2O3 and SiO2/TiO2 the ratio of components in the materials corresponds to the stoichiometry of the synthesis. Materials with β-diketonates Eu(III) are characterized by intense radiation in the visible region with a quantum efficiency of more than 70%. Materials containing Nd(III) and Yb(III) complexes show luminescence in the near-IR range of the spectrum, the intensity of which is 21-66% of the crystalline complexes. It was found that the optimal concentration of lanthanide compounds in the materials is 0.5-1.0% mol. Product Description popup.authors Yegorova Alla V. Efryushina Ninel P. Antonovich Valerij P.
