Bogatsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The object of research is the interaction of oxides, sulfides and fluorides of metals of groups II-IV with Germanium and Boron oxide with the formation of complex compounds and its influence on the processes of thermal evaporation in deep vacuum. The aim of the work is to develop ideas about the mechanism of interaction between oxide impurities in Germanium systems - metal sulfide, metal fluoride and Boron oxide in order to bind them into complex compounds. Infrared transmission spectroscopy, diffuse reflection spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis, chemical substantial analysis were used as research methods. Using the applied set of experimental methods, the disappearance of the phases of oxides from Zinc sulfide and Magnesium fluoride and the appearance of new, complex oxides such as borates of different composition were established. This will promote congruent evaporation of Ge-ZnS and Ge-MgF2 composites with the formation of nanocomposite coatings on substrates with high performance parameters. The results should be used to test samples of these systems as film-forming materials with CVD - evaporation and condensation mechanism. The work has a clear practical significance, as it is aimed at creating fundamentally new materials for interference optics of the IR spectrum. The use of new materials in the optical instrumentation of the IR range will open new perspectives both for peaceful purposes (household appliances, astronomical instruments) and for strengthening the state's defense capabilities, will increase the authority of domestic science and technology. For this purpose, further testing of the materials developed in the work by thermal evaporation in vacuum and research of the obtained interference coatings with recommendations for their implementation.  Product Description popup.authors Ieriomin Oleg G.
