Subbotin name popup.description2 The aim of the project was reconstruction of the geomagnetic field in the Neoproterozoic according to the results of paleomagnetic research in Ukraine and obtaining new paleomagnetic data as a basis for paleogeodynamic reconstruction of the Eastern European platform in the system of Neoproterozoic supercontinents. Field works and selection of paleomagnetic collections of samples of Vendian age within the south-eastern and southern part of the Volyn-Podillya plate were carried out. Magnetometric research, component analysis, calculation of paleomagnetic directions, calculation of virtual geomagnetic poles, and petrographic and mineralogical research have been conducted. Selections and analyzes of own and previous paleomagnetic data, materials on geological-geophysical structure, structural-tectonic position of the work area have been selected and analyzed. New paleomagnetic definitions (paleomagnetic and virtual geomagnetic poles) were obtained for the Vendian deposits of the Volyn trap formation and the sedimentary deposits of the Volyn Podillya series. The petrographic and mineralogical composition of sediments of the Hrushkiv Formation of the Volyn series of Podillya was analyzedand it was possible to establish correlative features of the relationship between minerals and mineral associations of iron minerals associated with the formation of natural residual magnetization components.
