A mathematical model of the interaction of longitudinal and transverse seismic blast waves with protective objects for their seismic resistance has been developed. A numerical method has been developed and simulations of wave processes excited by man-made explosions and the influence of different types of seismic explosion waves on the seismic stability of structures and protective objects during their propagation have been carried out. A software-calculation module has been developed, which implements a model of dynamic strength analysis and allows estimating the magnitude of longitudinal and transverse seismic loads. The application of the grid-characteristic method allowed not only to estimate the values of longitudinal and transverse seismic loads on the seismic stability of buildings during their propagation, but also, based on the Mises condition, to determine at which points the building may be destroyed. According to the results of numerical calculations, it is established that for the longitudinal wave, in contrast to the transverse, the main fractures are in the corners, door and window openings. There is no damage to the ceilings, as is typical in the case of a transverse wave. But when passing a transverse wave, the area of destruction is much larger than when propagating a longitudinal wave. Checking the fulfillment of the Mises condition makes it possible to assess the damage to buildings during dynamic loads from the action of seismic explosion waves excited by man-made explosions. The main damage comes from transverse waves, because their amplitude is much larger. The calculations show the possibility of using the numerical method for modeling various seismic phenomena and the passage of elastic waves in complex structures.
