Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The computer algorithm has been developed to calculate the scattering of waves on objects of complex shape, in particular with a curved surface and with or without an absorbing coating. The algorithm can take into account the layered structure of the coating and/or diffuse or mirror scattering of electromagnetic waves on surface, as well as the attenuation of waves when passing deep into the coating. Has been created the computer algorithm that simulates the reflection coefficient measurements from areas of complex shape object. The measurements are performed in the near zone by the decomposition method. Thus, a scattering model of a complex object based on measurements in the near zone was developed. Experimental approbation of the created methods of measurement on a real sample of military equipment is carried out. An algorithm for taking into account the influence of the electrodynamic properties of the underlying surface on the measured (or calculated) results is proposed. This algorithm allows to draw conclusions about the visibility of the object against the background of the underlying surface The algorithm for calculating data in the near zone based on the transformation into the far zone of spherical harmonics is proposed. An effective method for estimating the influence of the coating on the visibility characteristics of a curved object is proposed, numerous studies of the reflection coefficient are carried out A model of a multifrequency measuring complex has been created to determine the characteristics of radar scattering of complex objects using measurements in the near zone. Methods of conversion of measured characteristics in the near zone into radar characteristics in the far zone are created and checked. Product Description popup.authors Bykov Viktor M.
