Purpose -to create early-season, high-yielding, resistant to bio- and abiotic factors soybean varieties with top-quality raw materials through hybridization and mutagenesis followed by selection. Breeding method - complex intervariety hybridization followed by multiple individual selection, induced mutagenesis. Four grain soybean varieties have been created: Sloboda variety with a potential yield of up to 3.5 t/ha, vegetation period of 98-100 days, yield of 2.56 t/ha in a competitive trial, protein content of 38.7%, and oil content of 20.5%; variety Fortetsia with a potential yield of up to 3.5 t/ha, vegetation period of 95-98 days, yield of 1.9 t/ha in a competitive trial, protein content of 39%, and oil content of 21%; variety Fantaziia with a potential seed yield of up to 3.5 t/ha, vegetation period of 94-96 days, yield of 1.65 t/ha in a competitive trial, protein content of 38%, and oil content of 20.6%; variety Hospodynia with a potential seed yield of 3.0 t/ha, vegetation period of 92-94 days, yield of 2.40 t/ha in a competitive trial, protein content of 39.6%, and oil content of 20.0%. A collection of soybean accessions with a set of breeding-valuable traits (high performance, seed quality, resistance to lodging, seed shedding, resistance to pathogens and pests) comprising 22 accessions was formed. The accessions are early-season (vegetation period 90-99 days). Their yields are 2.05-2.96 t/ha; the protein content in seeds – 37.9-42.1%; the oil content – 18.0-20.5%; resistance to bio- and abiotic factors – 9 points. The new varieties meet the modern production requirements and are at the level of the best world and domestic counterparts. The collection accessions are recommended for involving in breeding to create new high-yielding early-season soybean varieties with top quality of seeds Product Description popup.authors Antsyferova Olha V.
