The aim of the work was to evaluate the toxic effect of different concentrations of nanocomplexes on the indices of animal survival, changes in body weight, macro- and microstructure of internal organs, hematological and biochemical parameters. The influence of nanocomplexes on the functional activity of hematopoietic cells of the bone marrow was evaluated. Here, there were used the modern research methods such as: histological, biochemical ones, light microscopy, flow cytofluorimetry. The obtained results allowed to establish the absence of negative influence of NCs on the general state of the organism, morphological and quantitative characteristics of internal organs, hematological and biochemical parameters when administered in a conditional therapeutic dose (5.2 g of NPs per 1 kg of animal weight). Under conditions of acute toxicity, a potential half-lethal dose (DL50) of NCs: 2 ml per animal (104 g of NPs per 1 kg of body weight) was determined, which caused 50% death of animals with a single intraperitoneal injection. According to the toxicological classification by the value of DL50 the nanocomplexes can be classified as low-toxic substances. The absence of negative effects of nanocomplexes in the conditional therapeutic dose relative to the vast majority of indices determines their prospects for the creation of nanostructured forms of drugs.
