 Investigation subject is electric vehicle energy efficiency increasing methods and its camouflaging properties in the infrared and acoustic ranges. Investigation goal is to make experimental research of the electric drive of an electric vehicle. Research techniques are analysis and synthesis of electromechanical systems, testing and experimental research of the electric drive of an electric vehicle. A model of a simplified gearbox has been designed and investigated. A computer simulation of an electric vehicle with a simplified gearbox has been carried out and an increase in the efficiency of its power plant has been confirmed. Studies of the camouflage properties of an electric vehicle in the acoustic and infrared ranges have been made. The results will be used during the re-equipment of cars to electric vehicles and in the development of tactics for the use of electric vehicles.
