The object of research is the processes of intellectualization and information technology (IT) of creation of the resource-efficient and safe Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The purpose of research is to develop a scientific and methodological apparatus for "smart" objects software building in the IoT concept, taking into account the energy efficiency of possible solutions in relation to the critical protection of information and losses that will be lead to by irrational decisions. The results of the research - analysis of the current state of the problem of systematization and standardization of elements of technology for developing knowledge-oriented IoT software, the main elements of the recommended ITU-T reference model IoT are considered, existing and promising tools for Internet systems of "smart" things developing are described; within the process of developing "smart" elements of IT IoT, intelligent components have been designed to adapt the functional model that is part of the reference IoT model; an expandable ontology of basic concepts for formalizing the interaction of software agents within the IoT system is developed; the "4 + 1" paradigm of formation and evaluation of the quality of the IoT software, based on the methodology of Model checking verification using multiinvariants is proposed; the concept of using Blockchain to ensure the security of interaction of IoT objects as part of the complete logistics chain is proposed. The results of the research were tested. In the future it is planned to continue work in the direction of studying the development of Internet systems of "smart" things within the ecosystem theory of evolution, to pay attention to assessing the "greenness" of IoT systems and improving the environmental performance of such software, methods of learning and additional learning of smart objects IoT, as well as tools for improving data security in IoT systems.
