This included development of the basic equations and formulas based on boundary integral equations and the method of analytical regularization for analysis of scattering and absorption of terahertz waves on metasurfaces in the form of periodic gratings of monolayer graphene strips attached to a dielectric substrate. According to the derived formulas, effective numerical algorithms for the analysis of scattering and absorption of terahertz waves on lattices made of graphene strips have been developed. Such algorithms will have mathematically guaranteed convergence and high accuracy, which can reach the level of machine accuracy. Computer programs for the detection of electromagnetic fields in the scattering and absorption of terahertz waves on gratings of graphene strips attached to a dielectric substrate were developed and verified. The consistency of the results obtained with the help of the developed programs with the previously published works using other, less efficient and less fast methods, for example, the method of moments, is demonstrated. Numerical studies of the selectivity of the graphene gratings in the terahertz frequency range for verification of computer programs were performed.
