During the period of work on the topic the state of development of Ukrainian museological science and modern practices in the context of world museology was studied, problematic issues on the history and theory of museum work in domestic and international formats were covered, complex methods of innovative scientific and methodological approaches museums of Ukraine, its preservation and interpretation in today's conditions, the problem of restitution and reconstruction of the loss of museum monuments due to the cultural genocide of totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century. Some significant ethnocultural strata and artistic phenomena in the all-Ukrainian and regional aspects, the influences of different cultural areas on the formation of original regional traditions in the national culture are studied. Particular attention was paid to the influence of important socio-political, cultural, economic, religious and artistic and aesthetic factors on the formation of Ukraine's cultural heritage in terms of museum collections.
