The purpose of the work is to ground the scientific and methodological principles and practical recommendations aimed at the development of foreign language communicative competence of students, acquiring foreign languages for professional use in the context of European integration of Ukraine. Research methods include critical analysis of scientific sources; comparative analysis of foreign language teaching systems in the world; study and generalization of positive experience including usage of innovative computer and information technologies in teaching foreign languages; testing of students’ language level aimed at identifying their currect communication skills; modeling of educational process in the conditions of distance learning. The essence of the concept of foreign language communicative competence is determined, the role of mnemonic activity and spontaneous memorization in the process of formation of students' speech skills is established, the method of formation of grammatical skills and writing skills as fundamental bases for competent professional foreign language communication is developed. Methodological aspects of introducing teaching technologies in formation of professional communicative competence are revealed, namely advantages of using role play for formation of intercultural business speaking competence, principles of the constructivist approach for attracting attention, development of creative thinking and motivation for learning languages. The analysis of language material is carried out to reveal intercultural and cultural contexts of using languages.
