M.V.Zubets of NAAS popup.description2 The expediency of conducting complex individual and group (herd, breed) cytogenetic and molecular testing to determine the level of biological variability and the associated relationship of potential genetic markers with indicators of economically useful traits of farm animals has been experimentally proven. Molecular genetic analysis of the peculiarities of the genetic structure of domestic populations of 4 breeds of pigs and their subtypes, 5 breeds of cattle, meat and horses of aboriginal Hutsul breed. The informativeness of using microsatellite analysis at 12 loci to study the polymorphism of the genetic structure of horses has been proved. It was determined that for Hutsul breed genetic examination of origin with an accuracy of 99.97%, it is sufficient to use only 6 loci (AHT04, AHT05, ASB17, HMS06, HTG04, VHL20). The informativeness of using microsatellite analysis at 9 loci to study the polymorphism of the genetic structure of buffaloes has been proved. 61 allelic variants were identified in the nine loci studied, ranging from 4 (ILST 006) to 11 (TGLA). The average number of alleles per locus is 6.77. The main stages and basic elements for the implementation of genetic monitoring in the system of in situ conservation of local and endangered breeds of farm animals in Ukraine are identified and relevant recommendations are developed. Molecular-cytogenetic analysis of the peculiarities of the genetic structure of the domestic population of river buffalo and horses of small Novooleksandriv breed was carried out.
