It is established that depending on the pressure of the gas mixture, two modes can be implemented, which differ significantly in the density of the generated plasma. Based on the model, a one-dimensional numerical code was developed. In addition to the RF module, the numeric code is supplemented by a module for EC heating. The possibility of using a multi-probe thermodesorption diagnostic system to study the processes of desorption of residual and plasma-forming gases after cleaning the walls of the Hurricane-2M stelarator chamber with plasma discharges in hydrogen, helium and argon was tested. The operation of thermodesorption probes made of stainless steel and TiN coating in the U-2M chamber is compared. The presented diagnostics allows to carry out research of processes of gas release from stainless steel in the temperature range of 100-700С and to estimate quantity of monolayers of gas on its surface (ie quantity of impurity on a chamber wall). A numerical self-consistent model for stellarators has been developed, which includes a system of particle and energy balance equations for electrons and a boundary value problem for Maxwell's equations. A new module was developed and included in the code, which calculates the electron cyclotron heating on the second harmonic in the case of weak wave attenuation. Using this model, a test numerical simulation of high-frequency discharges in the cleaning mode in the B-7ex stelarator was performed. To measure the plasma current, a Rogovsky sensitive belt was designed, installed and tested, which allows to measure small currents in B-2M discharges with a small field В = 0.01 Т. The system for measuring plasma current based on the Rogovsky belt has been successfully tested in various categories of U-2M.   Product Description popup.authors BARON Demian I. Byrka Volodymyr I.
